What a fabulous Vlog Academy Award Ceremony today and congratulations to our winners!
But I think anyone who´s picked up their camera and recorded a personal video blog should be congratulated; so here´s to all of our other members of the Vlog Academy who´ve been part of the vlog motion and anyone else out there who´s created personal vlogs!
We started the morning with a video strategy session by Georgia Rooney, who´s an expert in the field. She talked about the importance of knowing who you´re talking to, what type of video works for your specific audience and where they hang out.
Mi Elfverson, Founder of The Vlog Academy, then gave her Top 5 x tips to grow your visibility and gave an update on changes and news regarding YouTube, Apps and algorythms.
We watched many a video and we laughed, nearly cried and felt encouraged to go out to share our message as our authentic selves.
Here are the winners:
Best Beginner´s Vlog Award: Tove Hellkvist, School of Dance and Circus Stockholm
Tove works as a PR manager at DOCH in Stockholm and has understood the power of video marketing. She´s started creating video blogs about the different courses at the school, to allow potential students around the world to get an insight into the courses.
